Focusing too much on the stomach area itself is a mistake that a lot of people make. One thing that should be kept in mind is that the stomach is one of the toughest areas to train. Although it may seem sensible, focusing exclusively on the stomach area is actually very inefficient since not much fat is actually burned, and since there is still a layer of fat that remains, any mass or definition you have achieved in your stomach muscles will not be easily seen.
